"Do you know Lilias?" Lizi narrowed her eyes, tilting her head to scrutinize Ji Bai, who was huddled in the corner, her face a mask of wariness and fear.

The scene fell into an eerie, tense silence.

Ji Bai, gradually realizing something was amiss, used a piggy bank to shield her face, her eyes darting nervously to the silver-haired girl nearby.

Something's off. This girl, she's not... not that shameless one.

Ji Bai let out a shaky sigh of relief. Earlier, due to the striking resemblance of the girl to a certain bloodthirsty vampire in her memory, Ji Bai had panicked, losing all sense of judgment. Now, upon closer inspection, she realized it wasn't Lilias. Though they looked very similar, there were subtle differences. Lilias had a purer silver hair and a deeper crimson in her eyes. Her demeanor was regal, with long, intricately braided hair, a cold, enigmatic smile, and an air of nobility that made even the most refined ladies feel inferior.

This girl, however, had a moment of unmasked murderous intent, and beyond that, a reclusive, lethargic aura that made Ji Bai feel suffocated. The most telling difference, however, was in their figures. Both were flat, but this girl was in the second tier of flatness, while Lilias was at the very bottom, almost non-existent.

Ji Bai couldn't help but chuckle at the thought. It was so pitiful, a female vampire with almost no development, as barren as a nutrient-deprived wasteland, harder than plate armor. Poor, hungry child.

"Do you know Lilias?" Lizi repeated, her gaze fixed on Ji Bai.

"Are you a vampire?!" Ji Bai's wariness was rekindled by Lizi's features. Pale skin, pointed ears, silver hair, and blood-red eyes—how many royal vampires were hiding in this academy? And the quality of her hair suggested a close relation.

Lizi was dressed casually in a T-shirt, skirt, and stockings. Ji Bai, however, had no interest in such a young-looking vampire.

Vampires, she knew, were a proud and disdainful race. They scorned all other races, only accepting vassals, not equals. Their arrogance was justified, as the royal bloodline, the Divine Vein, was the most potent among the Demonkind, far surpassing any other.

The First Embrace allowed for the perfect inheritance of the previous generation's bloodline, meaning the current direct descendants of the vampires shared almost the same blood as their revered ancestors. Each Empress, to strengthen their rule and the nation, would often elevate trusted individuals to the rank of prince, ensuring the purity of the Divine Vein. This was why the royal bloodline was so highly regarded, and why the vampires held their direct lineage in such high esteem.

"Oh, I haven't introduced myself yet—my apologies." Lizi straightened her posture, curtsying gracefully. "I am Rasambor—Lilizi, the current Moon Knight Commander. May I ask what brings you here and who you are?"

Another Rasambor, Ji Bai thought, her expression darkening. Though she knew the demons in this school were not aggressive, she still calculated her chances against Lizi.

Forget it, she didn't want to fight a vampire who looked like that. Not because she was scared of Lilias, of course!

"…If I remember correctly, you called me here, right?"

"Hmm? Lizi called you? Oh, you must be that super impressive Freshman, right? Ji... Ji... Ji Hong?"

"Ji Bai," Ji Bai corrected, exasperated. "It's very impolite to get someone's name wrong in public. If you forget, you should address them as 'Miss' or 'Sir' and subtly guide them to reveal their name. And your tone should be courteous and gentle, not lazy. That's the proper etiquette for a lady, understand?"

Lizi was taken aback, and Ji Bai was equally surprised. Why did I say that again?

"…Ji Bai, do you know the etiquette of the Bloodline, or is it similar to human etiquette?" Lizi asked, her face filled with confusion. Ji Bai's words reminded her of her mother's teachings, so nagging and relentless.

"Uh... it's the same for humans. I just have high standards, don't mind it..."

"Alright, then can you answer Lizi's question now? Do you know Lilias?"

"…I don't want to know her."

Lizi gave an enigmatic smile, hopping off the sofa. "Please, Ji Bai, follow me~" She performed a flawless noble bow, her childlike face breaking into a smile, revealing a pair of sharp fangs.
